Un sistema di sedute ispirato alla Dolce Vita italiana
An icon of timeless elegance. Low volumes, generous proportions and soft corners define a distinctive family of seating with an essential design language. Riviera reinterprets the atmosphere of the 1960s as a contemporary, modular furniture system conceived for living spaces, terraces and hospitality.
Riviera seamlessly moves between indoor and outdoor environments: from living areas to terraces, from contract spaces to wellness areas, maintaining formal coherence and compositional freedom. Riviera is not just furniture, but an invitation to enjoy the pleasure of slow living, with the same light and refined spirit that has made Italian cinema and lifestyle iconic worldwide.

The design language of Riviera
Low, soft, and monolithic volumes
The low profile, rounded corners, and continuous seating create full volumes that are visually soft. The aesthetic remains minimal, while the lightweight structure allows the modules to be moved and reconfigured with ease.
A technical structure without a wooden frame
The compact internal structure replaces the traditional wooden frame, eliminating components that are vulnerable to moisture, mould, insects and wood-boring pests.
Free modularity
Bases, backrests, and cushions function as independent elements. The composition can change over time, moving from poufs and free seating to armchairs, sofas, and island configurations without losing formal coherence.
Seating to be enjoyed from every side
The modules can also be used without a backrest and remain accessible from multiple sides. A useful feature in open spaces, lounges, and large common areas, where the seating becomes part of the architecture of the space.
Indoor and outdoor, a single system
The same design language runs through both interiors and exteriors. With dedicated covers, Riviera extends to terraces, poolside, spas, resorts, and hospitality spaces while maintaining aesthetic continuity between indoor and outdoor.
Independent backrests, two languages
The high-density internal structure can integrate, depending on the configuration, repositionable backrests or solutions with a fixed backrest, maintaining formal coherence and design freedom.
The lucky cushion
Some REEF details also originate from the territory. The soft feather cushion interprets Southern Italy's tradition through a soft and enveloping shape, with ends inspired by lucky horns, a symbol of good fortune and protection.
A functional element that also becomes a graphic sign, story, and identity.
Designed by Verniere Scarpa, REEF armchairs are born from an approach that combines form, engineering, and freedom of use.
Structure and materials
The internal high-density polystyrene structure ensures strength, long-lasting durability, and complete protection from mold and moisture, making the Reef sofa ideal for both indoor and outdoor environments. Fully removable covers and hand-finished, it is made with the highest quality materials that reflect craftsmanship consistent with a contemporary design aesthetic.
The sofa rests directly on the floor, but thanks to its light weight it can be easily lifted to allow cleaning of the underside, made of the highest quality cordura. Despite its lightness, a special design creates a 'suction cup' effect with the floor, ensuring perfect stability even outdoors.

The Riviera sunbed
In the extended version, Riviera becomes a chaise longue and sun lounger: a wide and continuous surface, defined by a low profile, rounded corners, and proportions designed for relaxation. Dedicated formats fit naturally by the poolside, on terraces, in spas, resorts, and wellness areas, maintaining the same language of the collection. The cylindrical cushion completes the seat as a soft support and distinctive graphic element, while the technical covers allow configuring the lounger for intensive outdoor use.
